Magic Tree Intro
Welcome to the Magic Tree iPhone Application which allows you to create your own great magic trees!
The following is a little introduction about what you can do with it.

Buttons
Screenshot Button
To store a tree in your photo album press the screenshot button. The tree will be stored as a quadratic image (1024 x 1024 pixels). That’s the whole area which you can scroll around, not just the part which is currently visible.
Redraw Button
With the redraw button you can grow a new tree. The old one will be discarded. Make sure to save it to your photo album first if you want to keep it! You can press redraw anytime. You don’t have to wait until a tree has finished growing.
Configure Button
When tapping the configure button your tree will pause growing and the screen will flip around to reveal the controls with which you can customize your tree. The tree will resume growing when you return to the main screen.
Configuration
Forkiness Slider
With the forkiness slider you can control how much your tree will fork. Moving the slider to the very left means: don’t fork. Moving it to the very right means: fork as much as possible.
Curliness Slider
The curliness slider allows you to control how much your tree will curl. Moving the slider to the very left means: don’t curl – your tree will grow straight. Moving the slider to the very right means: curl as much as possible.
Color Slider
With the color slider you can choose a color for your tree. The tree will always be black at the stem and then slowly change its color to the one you have chosen.
Example: Spiky Tree
- choose a low curliness and a low to medium forkiness
- let your tree grow to about the middle of the screen then tap on the configure button again (your tree will pause growing)
- choose a high curliness and maximum forkiness to get some volume
- let your tree grow on for about a second or two then tap on configure again
- choose zero curliness and forkiness for the spikes
- let your tree finish growing
